It fit my aluminium radiator perfectly. Plastic one started to leak and this one is what I use to see on radiators, but I guess plastic saves them money. This was a good buy.

I installed this valve in my radiator. Upon putting the coolant in I had a small drip out of the valve.I tightened the valve by hand. The handle came loose under hand pressure. Now I could not open the valve to drain the radiator, or close it to stop the drip. I had to remove the drain cock at the wrench nut because it was now worthless. Very poor design.

Dorman 61106 HELP! Radiator Drain CockExcellent product.. My 69 Chevy Truck came OEM with this type of drain cock and was tired and bent. This was a exact replacement for it.I like the fact that I can put a rubber hose on the end and direct the antifreeze right in to a 5 gal. bucket or drain pan. This is much better than a big uncontrollable mess all over the floor and frame of my truck. Some times its the little things that make a big difference.Buy with confidence.RagenRat

I use these for quick oil drains on Briggs & Stratton engines. They seal tight for coolants, but not oil or diesel. I have to keep an absorbent pad under them while in storage.

Not crimped properly and the wing nut part of it is loose so I can’t really open and close the valve properly. I’d consider returning and asking for replacement but that means I’d have to drain the coolant again and what do I put in there while I wait for a replacement.
