The metal part where the bolt goes didn't fit my 2003 Accord v6. The screw seemed like it was just a tad big for it to go in. If it happens to you, you can just remove the part from the old unit and use that instead. Just remove the 2 small screws holding it and swap it out. Other than that everything seemed to have been good.

Purchased this for my 2006 Honda Pilot after it went into limp mode on a freeway on-ramp of all places and left me unable to do over 25mph. We looked up how to fix it on YouTube, bought this, and after about an hour of labor, my car is back to running like a champ again. Thank you!

Its gotten to the point of trusting any aftermarket part these day of lasting long or being OEM counterfit part from China being packaged as the real OEM part. Dorman hasa better reputation so their was more confidence to give it a chance. It worked out to fix the issue in my Honda and stay fixed. The part looks to be very sturdy and made very similar to the Honda OEM that would have cost almost 3 times cost of Dohrman part. Along with Amazon to return it if it did fail in a short time. So this part looks to do the trick ok.

It works just like the original one, but the cable doesn’t sit at the same place on the TL. So you’ll have to adjust the cable. Be prepared for that even though it’s relatively easy.
