This is my second Dorman on a 2005 Honda Civic LX w/ 195k miles. I replaced the OEM one with this exact same Dorman probably 4-5 years ago, and it just broke, so I got another.Replacement is straightforward, especially if you've done it before. Quality seems to be pretty good (4-5 years for the price... that's reasonable... and it was driver side so it gets the most usage), and it's readily available on Amazon for a decent price. Would I love to have an OEM... sure... but for an old car the price of OEM isn't justified, and Dorman seems to be about the best alternative.

Fit my 2004 CRV perfectly! All the holes lined up and no need for additional parts as some of the cheaper styles do as they use studs instead of tapped bolt holes. Installation requires a few basic tools, maybe an hour of labor (that's generous), and a YouTube installation video (just search one. There are quite a few online). Easy part for a DIY job and save some cash.

Works perfect! I had it swapped out within an hour from start to finish. All you need is a Phillips screw driver and 10mm deep socket. there are 4 screws holding the door panel on. 2 screws are under door handle and 2 are on either side under arm rest. 9 bolts hold the window regulator and motor in door. This is a very easy DIY project and save your money to reward yourself with something you want. If you run into problems there are how to posted on the web.

Works as advertised. I removed the old broken one and installed the new one. Window works perfect now. Doesn't get any better than that. Trickiest part was getting the old one out due to my window was stuck in the up position, and i could not get at the 2 bolts holding the window in. What I did was unbolt the old unit and shift to the left. I was then able to remove one bolt on the window. I was then able to pull the regulator part farther left where i could cut the cable holding the window up. After that i was able to get the 2nd bolt out without issue. The new part bolted right in and worked good as new. I am not the handiest of person either. If i can do it, any one can and save about $500 having the dealership do it.

Perfect fit 2006 CRV SE. I returned the Duralast one because the motor sound was way louder than oem. This doorman is exact replacement l. Time will tell if it lasts. Easily 5 stars if it lasts more than a couple of years

It was really easy to replace. Just a tip. Get a 10 small socket wrench to make it easier!

This was a perfect fix for my 2006 Honda CRV SE. The product quality was as good or better than the Manufacturer's part at a fraction of the cost. Easy to install - as long as you look at a few UTube videos on-line. Works perfect for the last 3 months.
