This looks, fits and works perfect. Excellent replacement part for a none working switch in a 1999 k1500. Symptoms were no lights and no function for 4x4 switch. After watching some Youtube videos this was very easy to install (less than 10 minutes) and the problem was fixed .

Excellent! Fixed the random working and not issue I was having on our 1997 Chevy 1500 pickup. Only issue is the lights are white compared to the almost orange look of the rest of the dash lights. So it doesn’t match but it’s a 97.. happy it works. 4 stars for value since many out there are cheaper by almost a 1/3 the price. Dorman was the most expensive

Received promptly from Amazon, thanks;The original switch kept going out( the LED would not light and I would have to play with it for awhile to have it light but it never lasted, must have been a loose connection inside the switch; I did pull it once and played with it then it worked for a time but....This selector switch fit our 1996 Tahoe perfectly; it arrived around 1415 and I had it in before 1445, really about 20 minutes; I followed a Youtube video that showed how to replace this switch.I hope it lasts; I will change my review if it does not but right now it's great

I like that this lights up and my original did not. Makes finding the button a lot easier in the dark and provides a better framing for the amber light in the middle of my dash.Of course, being a GM thing, they are annoying to replace. Hopefully, I won't have to be doing that again for a long time!

the part performs as expected,what i wasnt impressed with,was the fact that the driver DELIVERED IT TO THE EDGE OF MY DRIVEWAY & SIDEWALK NOT THE FRONT DOOR LIKE ALL 30 PREVIOUS ORDERS!!!

Works good installed easily. My old one the light always went out and had to bang it to get it to work on my 97 yukon. Not no more new one works like new again.
