The original part on my C6 died and needed to be replaced. I ordered the OEM replacement part via a GM approved seller and the part does not fit (the electrical connector is different and needs an adaptor ...).I ordered this part and it fits perfectly, with out any adaptations required. In terms of durability, that's another question, I've only had it in the car for a couple of months, so time will tell.

Had Evap codes in a 2001 Buick. The fuel tank pressure sensor wasn't reading correctly. Replaced that and decided to replace this also since the car still had the original vent valve on it. My old one was round. This does go in the holder for it, but hits the gas vent pipe to the gas fill port when installed in the vehicle. You have to force it a bit to get the bolt reinstalled. So far the check engine light has been off. (It had been on for months)

Part works great, but get the adapter that has only wire leads on one end to splice in. The adapter you see recommended with an OEM style connector on one end and the two wire connector on the other end did not fit my application.

This product has the legacy connector so that a harness is NOT needed (please see picture attached for the"rounded" connector).I also ordered it from Europe on a Friday, and got it ... on the next Monday (by paying an additional 10USD for international fast shipment). Very impressed how fast it was, it deserves way beyond a 5*! Thank you!!

Item was not exactly the same as my old one but I was able to make it work with some modifying. Lucky I had the material and knowledge to modify the vacuum port to make it work. Not the average modification. The vacuum poet on the new item was to short to let the connection seal properly so I had to cut my port off of the old vent valve and attach it to the new vent valve.
