Remove the old one. Make sure you transfer over the old clips to the new part before installing it. P0456 code (EVAP small leak) cleared on its own. It's a Dorman so it just works.

Not much else to say. I installed it at the beginning of November, and it stopped working and threw a check engine code about 6 weeks later.It began making a weird noise about 4 weeks after installation. Not very durable and poor value for the money. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Just what I needed to get rid of the engine light dealing with the evap system. Very easy to install and after a battery system reset the light has not come back on. 500 miles and counting. Will but again and recommend to others. Great price.

Excellent quality perfect fit for my 2008 Dodge Nitro started with the gas cap didn't work went with this purge valve engine light turned off after one drive cycle would definitely recommend
