This solenoid worked great. Not too easy to get to but it’s fairly straightforward. Get some replacement bushings to get the slop out of your shifter as well

It did not come with a retaining clip. So make sure you keep the Original clip on disassembly.

When I dropped my steering column to install this, My indicator broke. It took me twice as long to repair my indicator bracket.

Had a common problem with my E350 Club Wagon - shifter stuck in park, no brake lights. Replaced this along with the shift lever shaft bushings... not overly difficult once you get access to the parts. Be sure to take a few photos of how the pieces fit together so when you install the new one it goes together properly. Solved my problem - I'm happy with it obviously

The Dorman part, is every way identical to the factory part. It works flawlessly. After first finding a video for installing the part on line, it was an easy job .
