2007 Suburban, easy to install, watched a YT video first so I wasn't guessing about the steps. Didn't come with any lube (didn't seem right to install it bone dry) so I added a little light general purpose oil to wafers and sidebar, slid right in. Took 30 minutes to program (10 min key on, then off and back on when security light went out, 3 times). Left both new transponder keys on ring and didn't even need to program second one seperately. No more key jiggling to get the burb to crank and it's a good thing because the very last "turn" on the old one took nearly a minute to get it to turn to on position for removal. If you've watched the videos it's a royal pain to replace without being able to turn the old cylinder so do it before it's too late. This was a very reasonably priced replacement and does the job well.

Bought and used in 2014 Tahoe, it was easy to install, it’s easy to use, and has been working perfect for months. Highly recommend this if you need a new ignition lock

The fit was as good as the OEM version. Key programming was accomplished using the factory OEM process. This is another OEM level quality replacement part from Dorman!

I have a 2012 Silverado and it only takes a medium size phillips head screwdriver, a 10mm socket, and a very small (eyeglass size) screwdriver to swap out the cylinder. Whole job took me about ten minutes.Key programming worked on the first try. Zero issues.

I'm not the one to write reviews but this saved me over $75 bucks & was super easy. The same part from O'Rileys was $125. Changed out the tumbler in about 10-15 minutes in my 08 Silverado & fixed my issues with key not wanting to turn over without using force / jiggling. It honestly took longer to put the covers back on the steering column correctly than to do everything else. Was surprised how easy to program keys to ignition as well. Overall very pleased with product & would recommend.

Strongly recommend this product. Watched a couple videos on youtube, Dorman has a GREAT one and did this myself at my grandparents place. Went there to borrow tools. The hardest part for me was taking off the panels '13 GMC Sierra. When you put a pin in to remove the cylinder, remember to turn the key first, and ensure the negative terminal is disconnected. This fix was less than $85 and my own time. FAR less than going to a dealer or mechanic. Very easy to code my new keys! Thank you, you saved me a lot of money.

Worked exactly as written in description, if any thing I'd add that you need to make sure you move the old key far away from the new key when the step asks for you to put the new key into the ignition being programmed otherwise it interferes with the learning process. This is the only hiccup I had in the process, once I put the old key in the back seat when programming the new key there was no issues
