This review is on the replacement key and cylinder from Lasancamila. The images show the details of the cylinder after removing it from the package and removing the old cylinder and installing this replacement cylinder. The listing provides a good overview of this replacement component and the vehicles it fits. I found it to well made and in every way it matches the original cylinder. I ordered this for my 1995 Ford F-150. Other than the fact that the bezel is a different color it’s exactly the same. My old cylinder had become so worn and sloppy it was getting very difficult to remove the key after shutting the truck off. In the above photos you can see the process to replace the old cylinder which is quite easy. Simply insert the key into the cylinder and turn it to the “ON†position. Use a small pointed tool to push in the locking pin inward on the cylinder. In my case there is a small hole in the column shroud to insert the tool but some applications may require you to remove the shroud from the steering column. After you press the lock pin inward and with the ignition still in the “ON†position pull the cylinder straight out. Now take the replacement cylinder and make sure it’s in the “ON†position. You will can verify this by pressing the small round lock pin as you turn the key it will move inward and will no longer be extended out. Finally you just insert the cylinder into the column, turn the key off and remove it and your done! If my explanation sounds confusing you can just go online and search for a video, I’m sure there’s lots of tutorials on how to do it. This cylinder functions perfectly and I no longer have any trouble removing the key anymore. I’m satisfied with this key and cylinder from Lasancamila and recommend it!

I'm pretty positive I got the wrong 1. All the points lined up and it was the right size but I'm off 1 year so it really wasn't wanting to go in. All I did was take the plastic mechanism off n putt it in. It will work for now but by no means is it correct. The product itself is great and worked as it should. Built very well and does it's due diligence.
