Good replacement for original unit and installed easily

The new part is not identical to the factory part on our 2013 Impala. The new part holes have 5mm screw threads. The factory mounting bolt has 5 mm threads on the tip but they enlarge to 6mm at the head. So the factory bolt won't go in the new part all the way. We had to buy three 5 mm bolts and washers to mount it. It does not fit as tight as the old part did, but we hope it will last.

CAUTION - be careful when ordering this product. There is nothing wrong with the product itself the problem is that it states that this is a "Trunk Lock Actuator". However when receiving the product it clearly states on the box that this is a "Door Lock Actuator" which is not even close to the Trunk Lock Actuator ment to fit my Impala. Though I was sent a replacement it was still wrong. I adventualy recived the right one comparing my old one to the different ones offered from Amazon. Nevertheless check and compare this against the one your replacing before you order. By the way it was an easy install saving yourself a lot of money for you who "do it yourself"
