I used this item for my 2010 Cadillac SRX. It fit perfect. I even purchased the regular air strut to change them both out. My Cadillac lift gate door wouldn’t open up all the way and when it did it would go right back down because one of the shocks wasn’t working. I believe it was the regular air shock on the passenger side because after replacing just that one side it stood open in its own. But I figured if one was bad then eventually the other was going to go bad too. Worth the money knowing it’s not going to hit me on the top of my head when unhooking bags.

Purchased for my 2012 Cadillac SRX. Hard to install only because of process of having to take off inside panels to get to everything but looked and fit like original.

Lots of panels to remove in order to remove and install. If you are a DIYer with a bit of tech savvy you can do this by following the instructions. I bought myself a workshop manual for my Caddy SRX. It took about 1 and 1/2 hrs, but in the end I saved myself just over $1500 from what the dealership quoted me.

Routing the lines down the D-pillar was a pain. Trying to get to all the clips under the plastic trim took quite some time.Total time to remove old and replace with new was about an hour.
