Part was perfect fit Seems to be working correctly. OBD code went away after installing the Throttle Position Sensor. Be aware of the videos online! I searched for 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 6 cylinder 4.3L and the video did not show the correct location of the part. After removing the air tube from filter, the serpentine belt, alternator.....the TPS was not there...location was on top driver side of engine. Did not have to remove all previous mentioned parts.

The product seems to work correctly.. The screws that came with the product were too short.. I used the old original screws and had zero problems..

Replacing this fixed my low voltage code that I had on my old throttle position sensor. Quality seems solid, good value. Installation isn’t too hard. On the 1999 Express, you need to remove the center console storage, remove engine hump cover. Then you can see it on the top of the engine on the drivers side. A torx bit is required, be sure to check that the new sensor is seated flush.

This was a quick install on my 1999 Chevy Tahoe 5.7 l. Before the change, the transmission would bang into second gear, now it shifts smooth like it should. I agree with other reviews the screws are too short. I use the originals instead of the new ones.

If vehicle has traction control - use doorman 977-036 with 6 pin body. Amazon shows that this will not fit but all other parts suppliers show that it will.

Unfortunately the one I received was defective worked for two days then I went to start my tahoe it was hard start followed by check engine light with jumping rpms. Took the new one off then put back my old tps ac Delco one and it fired up right away check engine light gone. I really was hoping this would work but unfortunately it was crap. Going to buy oem from now on.

I have used Dorman products many times over the years and they have always been excellent until this TPS. When I tried to install it the center hole for the shaft was not made properly and it would not fit. Very disappointing.
