Like this step stool…very useful. Doesn’t take up a lot of room. There were defects in the finish of the wooden one I purchased, despite being packed so well. The assembly instructions definitely could have been better. And just note… there are 16 screws you have to insert with a tiny Allen wrench. I actually had to grip it with a pair of pliers because the holes were so snug. Definitely shouldn’t have to worry about them loosening up, anyway.

It works great as a stepping stool and is the perfect height to double as a sitting stool. Solid wood and surprisingly stable. I was not prepared for the number of pieces, but the stool assembled easily.

Screws were not drilled deep enough and with to small of guide holes, wood split. Screws are cheap and seval strip and one broke. Had to drill out two new holes to assemble. Hope it doesn't break while we are using it.

I ordered this after looking at reviews of other similar products and seeing that they were difficult to assemble. This appeared on line to arrive fully assembled. It doesn’t. It’s a real pain to assemble and I had to ask my carpenter to do it, so if you have to hire someone to assemble it, it’s not a good purchase, even if you do like it in the end, as I do.

Glad I bought this one. (Was actually planning on buying one of those retro-vinyl chair-stools. But can’t stand on those).This wooden stool is perfect. It’s taller, sturdy, & compact. Easy to pick up & move. Loved it so much bought a second one in the other color. Highly recommend this step stool.

Love the design and the colour. It was scratched in the box. I used colour to hide the scratches and kept it anyway. Be careful screwing it together as the wood is more brittle than some other woods and will crack. The pre drilled holes were drilled on an angle making it are to match up. We have not used it enough to find out how it will stand up.
