This pillow has saved me so much unnecessary pain! I have awful posture, and fall in to even worse posture while I’m sleeping. I wear this pillow every night to bed and it keeps my neck aligned, and when your neck is aligned, your whole spine gets a little straighter. It’s firm enough for support, but still so soft. The case is a soft jersey knit material and I might just have to order a couple more as backups, in case this one starts to show any signs of flattening or damage. So far, it is holding shape perfectly, and still looks brand new, even after about a month of everyday use.

The Bendy Roll Pillow is absolutely amazing! What impressed me the most is its versatility. It can be shaped in multiple ways to provide support exactly where I need it, whether it’s for my neck, back, or legs. The foam is dense and firm enough to hold its shape, yet soft enough to be comfortable for long periods of use.The fabric is also a big plus—super soft and pleasant to the touch. The pillow is lightweight and easy to carry, making it perfect for travel as well.I mainly use mine on the couch for support while watching TV or reading, and I also take it to bed for extra comfort. Since I started using it, I’ve noticed a big improvement in overall comfort and less back pain.If you’re looking for a multipurpose pillow that adapts to your needs, the Bendy Roll Pillow is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

The foam itself... it is memory foam, but it doesn't remember much. But that's fine. It's still very comfortable foam. You'll probably mostly use it in a U-shape. I do. And that may make the malleable shape seem like a gimmick, but it's not a gimmick. It's very good. The fact that it holds its shape adds a lot for the support of the pillow, much like what you're hoping a large premium memory foam pillow will do. Once it's behind my head, I press my head into "the spot" to make the armature form to hug my head how I want it. What that spot is, will be slightly different for each person. You'll notice that it still makes a U shape, but with some small differences that are important. Your variant on the U will probably be different from mine, depending on where on your head you place it. And even if used just as the classic U, the armature adds some much-needed support that other travel pillows don't have.I have to use it unfastened, or else I can't get it into the spot that I want. I really wish it was longer; part of the support, at least in how I use it, comes from the shoulders, and it needs more length to utilize that to the fullest potential.I'm glad I saw another of the reviews with images. Kudos to them for warning us that it could break easily. Better not twist it, or bend it too sharply. I notice that the outer surface of the foam gets pulled very tight when the core is bent. That's not a good thing. Hopefully, with some extra care, it will last a good long time.Cutting a sausage comes to mind. When you bend a sausage, bends a little, until the tension overcomes the case, and it splits into two pieces. But if you put many shallow cuts into the sausage, then you can bend it quite a lot without it breaking. Perhaps some day, I'll get a second one, and try putting some shallow cuts in the foam to see if that prevents the foam from snapping apart. Maybe they'll even sell one like that, by the time I come back for another. My experience with the kind of foam that's inside of it, is that you shouldn't expose it to heat and you should keep it away from chemicals. And of course, keep it away from moisture and dirt, because the foam is porous and will trap it inside to become a bio hazard.Little ball joint armatures... assuming that's what this uses, will tend to wear out and get loose after a few years. So, that's another reason to be nice to it.If it doesn't break or wear out too fast, then this may be my pillow of choice for the rest of my life. Unless they make a longer one. Then, I'll buy that one every time I need a new one, and I'll be happy about it.I'm happy that I bought this pillow.

I cannot use the traditional neck pillows. This one was perfect for me. Soft and very flexible. You can bend it anyway you like. I kept it mostly straight and bended the end part to rest my head while hugging the straight part. Slept for almost 5 hours in along haul flight. It is very cozy. Cover came off easily for washing.

I really like the concept of an adjustable neck pillow and it seems to move as indicated in the description. The cover is a very soft jersey material and the memory foam seems to be good quality. However, it weighs over the 1 lb. advertised and I was not able to compress it enough to fit into my carry-on. If you are checking luggage and this pillow could be your personal item, it is probably a great choice for long flights. Since I try to travel with only my carry-on, it's not for me.

I bought this product a few weeks ago. I want to give me time to use it before writing about it. First my background on my neck: an auto accident with neck surgery on C3-C4. Five years now and still so much pain with most days and nights on ice packs. I was told i still need more surgery. So now for my review on this wonderful neck roll. I have been without ice since the very first use. Wow how my life has changed. More sleep with better sleep. I love that the soft cover can be taken out to wash. I also love the memory foam and it fits so perfectly under my neck. I can use it in my recliner or chair. Absolutely love my new life with less pain in my neck and shoulders. Thank you so much!

This looked like a fantastic travel pillow, but ultimately, I returned it.First, it’s bigger than the traditional travel neck pillows. It didn’t squish down much to fit in a backpack or suitcase. It’s something you would have to carry on, and depending on your airlines they might count it against their limit.Second, I wanted to use this for a makeshift tailbone pillow. Initially, the articulated “spine†feature seemed like a great idea to create a donut pillow. But after sitting on it for 10-20 minutes, I started to feel that “spine†through the cushion. It probably isn’t a problem for use around your neck or shoulders, but with a lot of body weight, it just wasn’t comfortable. The fabric was soft and it performed as advertised by holding bent positions, it just didn’t work for what I needed it for.If you travel a lot and want something for your neck or shoulders, I think this is a great option for better support with comfort.

It's a good idea to have a chair with a headrest. Until then though, an alternative is to tie up a ObusForme Highback Backrest Support to the back of a chair with a ratcheting strap. Then position a Dot&Dot Twist Memory Foam Travel Pillow behind your neck.

Super comfy but strap for extension could be longer for cross body use.
