I recently purchased the Dotline Push-N-Glide Sure Snap Telescoping Pole for my pontoon boat, intending to use it to push off from shore. The first thing I noticed about the Dotline Push-N-Glide pole is its impressive sturdiness. The construction feels solid, and it performs well under pressure. It extends smoothly from 5 feet to 12 feet, which provides ample length for various docking and pushing scenarios. In practice, the pole has been effective for its primary purpose of pushing off from shore. The telescoping mechanism is easy to use, allowing for quick adjustments to the desired length. This flexibility has been particularly useful when navigating shallow waters or tight docking spaces. However, a drawback is that the pole tends to fill with water during use. This can make the pole heavier and more cumbersome to handle over time. Maybe this is an intentional design feature as it may assist in getting the pole to the bottom of the river. One improvement I would make is to add a rubber cap to both ends, instead of just one. Again, maybe this is a design feature that allows the pole to do what it is supposed to.

This pole needs to be paired with the proper Duck Web Foot. It works better than any other pole I have used for gliding a boat through the channels in a marsh, or across salt water flats.

What is the warranty on this? I bought it less than a year ago and it broke on me this spring. Worked great til it broke! 3 stars because it broke. 5 stars if they replace it.

I needed a long handled fishing net, for fishing from a pier. It is 8-10 feet to the water. This handle worked with another net head, and will do the trick just fine.
