Important: Wire harness only works with standard non-premium amp factory systems- no external factory amp. Not compatible with amp systems like Bose. Red ignition wire of the new radio has to be run separately from the vehicle radio harness (factory radio plug has no ignition power wire). Will not retain some features like warning chimes, steering audio controls, Onstar, etc. Some off brand radios might not fit properly and requires modification. The kit didn’t correctly fit the radio I bought but I was able to cut some of the plastic and it fit eventually.Kit came with a harness that I used for the radio I bought (it didn’t come with its own) and the wires were pre-stripped up to a point (had to re-strip one or two); but in all functionality it looks and works good.
