I recently purchased the Double Happiness DHS Ping Pong Paddles, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with their performance! I've been impressed with DHS's prebuilt paddles, including the cheap ones, and this is no exception. This paddle is pretty head-heavy as expected of a penhold paddle, but is also a little bit heavy overall. I wouldn't recommend this to beginners or else they may risk a wrist injury.The Hurricane 3 (black) is as most people say. A little lacking in speed but you can get ultimate spin. The Hurricane 8 (red) side is more bouncy and feels a bit more like most the other rubbers on the market. If you're looking to explore DHS's rubbers a bit, this paddle's definitely worth trying.

I picked up this penhold racket to finally give myself the opportunity to try switching up my grip in a drastic way. I'd attempted Reverse Penhold Backhand a few times with my traditional style rackets, however it was never comfortable enough to play for more than a few matches. A penhold style racket, such as this one, has a shorter handle and a bit more room for the fingers at the bottom of the paddle.No complaints on the rubber, it seems fairly well rounded if not slightly on the offense side. The construction quality equally gets no complaints from me, and the comfortability is stellar. I can't comment too much on how it compares to other penhold style prebuilt rackets, though it really has served me well.

I found this paddle to work pretty well for my home use. I am not a professional ping pong player but I found this paddle to be a good one to have. It is well balance. It grips well so I do not have to worry about it slipping out of my hand. The pads are these are pretty durable. I found nothing like the pads falling off due to bad glue or anything. The actual paddle frame holds well. I found no chips or cracks on the paddle after constant use. I also found no issues from long term storage. It also survived drops a few time without any dents or cracks to the overall paddle. It hits well and does not vibrate or anything too much. Overall the paddle works pretty well. I would not say this is something you can use as a professional player as I am not one and I do not play competitively. It is still a well built paddle.

I was a big fan of table tennis in high school and played it religiously. Despite never being all that good compared to some people I played, I love the game and it's very accessible and fun. I got a DHS paddle in China about 15 years ago that is fantastic. It is still in great condition. I picked this one up to try something different and its no joke. This is a great paddle. It has a nice storage case and the surface is grippy and tactile. The grip is very comfortable for penhold style. High quality rubber and wood. It's a no frill look paddle but among the best made. Definitely worth it if you want an upgrade.

Good, consistent paddle, that works really well for the defensive player.I acquired this paddle because I wanted to see whether I could use it to improve my defensive play. I'm very much an offense-oriented player, and would love to shore up the defense component of my game.Well, I brought this paddle to last Thursday's edition of my friends' and my twice-weekly table tennis get-togethers and tried it out. It worked great! Consistent, bounces, big sweet spot and an easy comfortable grip made it a pleasure to play with.I lent the paddle to a friend and rival of mine, and that was the last I saw of it. He fell immediately in love with it, and played out of his shoes with it for the rest of that evening. I should note that he's very much a defensive specialist, and this paddle turned him into a human back wall.I can see that I now have to get one for myself, since my friend refuses to relinquish it, and I really liked it too!Recommended.

This worked well for an event my husband went to. He wanted a decent paddle but since he wasn't going to be playing routinely, it wasn't as important as buying if you're a pro. This worked well for him and he had fun playing.
