At a substantial price difference from the usual Command strips, I was tempted and decided to try these. Don't make my mistake. These are completely useless for hanging even the smallest thing. I could tell there was probably an issue when I opened the pack and the strips didn't easily separate from one another. First I tried two on a 3x5 lightweight frame that was previously mounted with ONE Command strip. It popped off the wall. I then went with four. It still came off. Ridiculous.

This was such a great buy as an alternative to command hooks and held my wreaths this season!

First time command strip user here. I followed tips online on how to make command strips stick etc and at the end of the day, I was successfully able to put up several posters and frames. HOWEVER, I will say that these have a horrible time sticking to any smooth surface. I had to use sandpaper on my two new diploma frames to make it “rough†so that the command strips would stick!! I had no issues with them sticking to my wall, just to the items themselves. Also for those of you worried if it damages wall paint, it does if you simply try to pull or peel it off by peeling it towards you. If you pull STRAIGHT DOWN, it comes off with NO damage, which is great. Like I said, overall they were ok. Wish they were stickier since my frames fell a couple times and I wish they were multi-surface including smooth surfaces.

I hate putting holes in the walls and try my best to avoid it as much as possible. Yes this does in fact hold simple wall clocks (they don't really weigh much to be fair). You want to attach two to as much surface area as you can on it though just to be sure it doesn't fall later. I tested these out with two pictures that weight ~13lbs each with the large strips and it feels very secure to the wall from what I can see.I went and removed some of the strips to see if I had issues with the release mechanism either getting stuck or ripping too early. I went slow and steady and each time they released quite well, hopefully it's not an issue that will show up later. Honestly these work better than I could have hoped.
