The parts in this kit seem every bit as sturdy as the original OEM parts and fit perfectly. I was able to reuse the existing holes in the storm door and the door casing.

The only thing I did not like was the door frame bracket was secured by only one screw, where the original had 4. They give you a longer screw, however, so it went in far enough that it was very firm on completion. Time will tell. The paint finish on the metal parts is very good, and everything worked as normal when I was finished. The screws fastening the other bracket to the door were larger diameter, but a DeWalt impact driver put them in quickly.
