This is my first bench scraper. Came a week ago and has been in constant use since. I don’t know what I was waiting for. I have arthritis in my hands now and was afraid it would have a learning curve to use. It is natural from the start and has become part of my hand for Christmas baking. It is super sturdy and does not give so if you need that feature you need a different one. I thought the inches on the blade were stupid but I use it all day- measure up right distance between racks, double check distance between cookies, size of doughs, depths of doughs, all kinds of things. I read the part about the wood handle. I have not had any problems. I am a meticulous cleaner so tend to clean this like my knives which is as soon as a task is complete and I always have hot soapy water in the si k for that when cooking. Dries quickly. Have not, and probably will not, put into the dishwasher.

Easy to use with a great edge for splitting dough. Definitely high quality!! Looks very professional & quite comfortable to use. Stores with easy. Great utility to own especially for bread bakers!!

The corners and the edge tend to scratch my cutting board. I'm going to round the corners a bit, and work the edge a bit. Just and FYI

I have been wanting to have one like this forever. Finally got one in the design I wanted. I like wood/metal design. Nice grip. I love that it has measurements on the metal surface. Easy to clean. Too soon to tell about the rust resistance since I just got it, used only twice. Cutter seems to be sharp enough but so far, I used it to scrape the cut veggies to the cooling surface and it was easy to use and very convenient.

Great price for a study, multi-purpose tool. Sharp enough to easily cut dough. It has measurements available and it works on all cutting board surfaces for scraping. Use one of these instead of your knife to prevent the sharpness from becoming dull.

As a chef, this has become an almost indispensable piece of equipment at both home and for work. Really robust and with very useful measuring guide, to ensure consistent results.Only possible drawback is that the handle is wooden so needs more care when cleaning- if that might be an issue? Otherwise 10/10

I love this bench scraper! It is well made and there is no plastic! The edge is sharp enough to scrape a pastry boards and cut the dough, but not so sharp that you would be afraid to use it.It is sturdy and does not flex when using it. I like that it has marking in both metric and imperial measurements, and also the little conversion chart on the blade will come in handy.It is not dishwasher safe because of the wooden handle. But, It washes up quickly by hand and so far I do not see any indication of rust or staining after a couple of uses.

Ich habe jahrelang meine geschnittenen Zutaten mit der Vorder- oder Rückseite des Messers in Töpfe und Pfannen geworfen und mir dabei jedes mal gedacht: Das ist doch nicht der richtige Weg. Funktioniert zwar, macht das Messer aber auch nicht besser. Mit der Spachtel kann man nun große Mengen bewegen und das ohne Angst um die perfekt geschliffene Schneide des Messers. Auf der Spachtel sind teilweise hilfreiche Angaben zu Mengen eingelasert. Sieht gut aus, ob man es braucht ein anderes Thema.Die Kanten der Spachtel sind sehr scharf, damit kann man bspw. eine Pizza oder Flammkuchen auch sehr gut in Stücke teilen!
