It was a lot sturdier than I was expecting. You can let the scraper do the work for you, no need to put a lot of force on it. I recommend using this with a grill cleaning solution and you barely need to do anything.

I used this exact grill scraper when I worked at McDonald's. Works very well, blades should be changed out a few times a year depending on how often it gets used. Remember to only scrape from the front to the back, not back to the front. You can damage the surface of a flat-top grill.
