Production Description:
1: PACKAGE INCLUDED: 4 pcs UV sensor testing card with sleeve, easy to store and carry.
2: 10 SECONDS QUICKLY TSETING: Place the card at the irradiation point under ultraviolet light (within 2 inch from the lamp) and wait for 10 seconds to detect whether the lamp has ultraviolet rays.
3: EFFICIENT JUDEMENT: Before UV detection, the cartoon lizard pattern is the detection area, and the detection area becomes white. After UV detection, the detection area changes from white to purple.
4: RECYCLE USE: The card can be used 500 times when used in increments of 10 seconds.
5: NOTE: Fit for 3.0 ~10.0 UVB bulb and Fluorescent bulb, and please put the card in the ticket or store it in a dark place when not use.

It's nice to have this if you just want to know your bulbs are still giving off UV until you can get a proper light meter.

Little price to pay for a peace of mind to ensure the lighting for my reptile is getting the UVB light it needs!It helped me realized my newly bought reptile lights actually doesn’t emit UVB like it advertised. Originally I thought it’s the card sensor that’s broken then I stepped outside where it was sunny and the card turned purple instantly! Will recommend!

The only aource of light that they work on is the sun, and even then it only changes to a barely visible very light purple and it disappears the moment you remove it from the direct light. I have tried it on mercury vapor bulbs, and led grow lights and more and it doesn't work on any bulbs or strips that I know emit UVB. I know because I've been using these brands for years and they effect plants and animals that need/use it, like they are getting it. ie: lizards not being crippled with MBD.
