The coating that is used makes them sound like a full roundwound but with the feel of a flatwound, thier incredible in whatever color you choose.

Look great, plays great. I have a red pair on my 5 string and whites on the hollowbody too. The red pair looks more orange in blacklights, but the white and blue are sick. Out of the box they are a little slippery from the coating, but that issue fixes itself after an hour or two of jamming.

I was able to watcha a tutorial and easily install these even though I had never done it before. My son, who has been playing for 6 ish months, says they feel really nice, have a great sound, and hold their tuning well. His bass instructor agreed that these are really nice too. We will definitely order more colors in the future!

They are very bright under a black light and play great. But I'm finding you have to return more often. Its not a deal breaker though.

I really like these strings, and I bought the green version previously. It takes about a month for them to ship to Japan, but I was excited to get them today. I really like the feel and sound of the strings, but the G string snapped while changing them. Pretty disappointed about it, but the other 4 sound good.
