I got a little weepy in rehearsal the other night because the beautiful tone from these strings was so lovely and I realized that these might be the first good strings I ever had! Hey maybe I’m not as bad a player as I think!

Great for quartet or orchestra. Big, warm, clean sound. Tuning stability is great. Professional quality strings. Best arco strings I've tried. Pizz is weak, but of course it is, it's not what they are made for. If you only fo orchestral pizz, it's fine. If you want a string that can do both, this isn't it, evah pirazzi might be better. But what this string does, it does so well

replaced Kaplans for the Belcantos. the sound is cleaner and the response is longer.Hopefully they will last a far while.Amazon was quick to post from Japan to Austalia
