Winterizing my 5th wheel I ran a little late and the value on the toilet had froze and we didn't realize until my wife stepped on the toilet flush lever. So a new part was needed. This was not the easiest thing to install, but I did get it fixed without any major problems. I ordered this kit because it came with all of the needed parts and a few other parts I replaced as well while I was doing it. Made life easier and the toilet is like new now. The full kit repaired other things that I had not realized should be replaced as well. It was a nice plus to have bought this kit with the extra items. And I would do that again. I had seen I could have just got only the valve, but I noticed this kit with the extra parts. In further examination of the toilet these extra parts would be beneficial to replace as well. A easy fix and not something that I had thought about until I looked at what the extra part was for. The value was worth the price.. so I bought this kit.

Figured the old valve was clogged. Removed toilet to replace. Easier to work on a bench than hunched over it on floor. Total job took about an hour.

Who knew you can do repairs to your own Rv without paying someone $150 an hour to do it for you. Wear gloves, read the detailed instructions and your toilet will be working again in no time!

If failed after only 7 months of use (2 effective months). The rv was in storage for five months, so, it only lasted 2 months. And it failed in the worst way: it simply stopped holding the water in the inlet, so the toilet over banked and flooded my rv. It was cheap in all sense of the word.
