When you pick up items like driftwood or rocks, you're not exactly sure what you're going to get. This is a decent set of wood. Per the description, most of the pieces are smaller with one or two larger. Shape wise, there is nothing that really stood out in this batch, but they're attractive and have use in smaller tanks. I wouldn't use this in anything larger than a 5-gallon tank or if you do have a larger tank than make sure you utilize additional larger pieces. For a 5 gallon or less planted tank, these would work well.

These are smaller sizes of driftwood. I only received one that was on the larger end of the advertised sizes. That being said, they're all unique shapes and if you have smaller tanks (isopods, tarantulas, tiny fish tanks) they make great decor pieces! Don't expect a huge focal piece for a big tank - but if you're doing small builds (5gal and under) there's some really great options in this pack.

I have been creating hardscapes for our aquariums, and in the dry startup stages with live plants. One piece worked perfectly as a base for an oyster shell, and I used 3 pieces to create an arch. It turned out perfectly. Looks like the pieces were one piece. They naturally fit together. Another looks like a small dragon, and that is also 3 pieces.Beautiful quality driftwood, and would easily order again.

Perfect for a pico tank. One of the piece was tiny. The others are perfect. Solid and well shaped. They are gnarly and will be easy to scape with as they have ample good viewing angles. Currently soaking to remove tannins and saturated so they'll sink. Very satisfied.
