Exactly as described! I have boiled the driftwood and it is currently soaking. I did have to place a rock on top of it to weigh it down but that is to be expected while soaking. The pieces are a good size for my cichlid tank. I plan on adding Java moss to it.

Perfect and safe for aquariums, easy to boil to clean. Looks great, durable, and functions like you'd expect it to. No smell and easy install

Alright so I bought these wood pieces for my 10 gal and thought they were too small.. Eventually I did end up adding them and holy cow are they so cool. They're super dark and porous, so if you're looking for something that stands out and can hold anubias this works. Just a word for the wise, boil it MANY times. I only boiled my 2 times, and it wasn't enough.

Product well packaged. Received several beautiful and interesting pieces. I ordered to go in my 3 betta tanks and I had more than enough to choose from. Perfect size for 3 gallon tanks. I was having an issue with the hardness in tank water. I bought these upon a recommendation to naturally correct same. Would highly recommend.

I'm dead serious about this. I've boiled the wood with salt water for over 3 days to remove all the tannin. Approximately 3 months have passed since I have used the wood in my aquarium and my aquarium water is extremely brown. I change 30% of the water every week and still there is 0 progress. I honestly don't think that the color of the water is ever going to change at this point. Tannin also impacts the hardness of the water so I have to add additional aquarium salt to keep my tank healthy. Seriously save your self the trouble and find something else.

Received these little beauties on time and they looked great! Placed them into a bucket of filtered water - destined for an aquarium - and had very little bleeding (color) over a 48 hour time frame. They have now been in tank for a few weeks - using them as anchors for some Anubias - and doing awesome.Highly recommend these for anyone wanting wood of this type.

I bought this product a couple years ago and got some very decent sized pieces. I bought it again and recieved this very nice large piece of wood. I'm rating it 3 stars because I only received one piece rather than the 5 it said it would offer... but I appreciate this singular large piece I received.

The pieces were big and full of holes and contours. Already heavy wood so didn’t need to soak long to sink. Was fun to scale around these pieces with some smaller ones. Such a unique wood. Blends perfectly with dragon stone.
