These are a good alternative to brand name product, work just as well and last just as long. And they are significantly more affordable. Nothing special about a polishing wheel, but they are a good bargain if you ever need to do any polishing or buffing work on small items. I used them for polishing refurbished pipes.

Advertised image and product description shows 3 different sizes/shapes, and 10 mandrels. I received only the small wheels, and 2 mandrels.Edit: adding a star because seller proactively contacted me offering a replacement. Will update after the replacement.Edit2: Received the replacement item. Item is as described and will work well.

I've been sick of getting thin Buffs that shed as soon as you start using them. These are just like the Dremel Buffs that are nice and thick, don't shed or wear out immediately and are hard, yet still soft enough for any application. In the picture you can tell that these are the ones on the right. The top of your mandrel won't be poking out and exposed to cause scratches. Great product for us polishers out there!

First, to other reviewers, please realize that for most jobs these pads are consumable.What I look for is how much of the job gets done before you have to switch pads. Having recently done a clean-up/polishing job with these and the OEM's side-by-side, these are better. Also, until getting this assortment, I had no idea how handy it is to have different shapes and sizes for different aspects of the same job.Tip: for each job and pad shape, experiment with tool speed.Not a problem, but I wonder why the set comes with so many mandrels.

I purchased these for use with a Dremel Light to polish metal watch cases and they have worked well. It comes with a screw head mandrels for fitting into the Dremel (my Dremel Light came with one and they're essentially interchangeable).These wool felt barrels work very well. They're just the right size and fit both the provided mandrel and the original Dremel one. They hold a good amount of polishing compound (I use Flitz). Good product for the money and solid five stars.
