I used these on brass fittings and they worked well when used at slow speed. If you use at a high speed you will probably strip out the hole.

JUNK ! I to tried at very very low speed and the the shaft broke as soon as it engaged the threading torque effort. It made the mess of trying to extract the drill , only to then find that this bit is made from very brittle poor metal that has been coted with the titanium to keep it cool.

Revised: Seller stands behind product so, for me, deserves more stars. Usually, I only do 1 and 5 star reviews. On this occasion, however, customer service trumps my experience. 3 out of 5ALL it had to do was make thread and it failed miserably with pre-drilled holes using old, cheap HF bit.M6 snapped violently (with minimal pressure) into 3/16" holes using hand drill.I don't have back-up so now my project is on hold...wanted to get it finished this weekend, but, alas, no.Not worth the gasoline to drive to return, thus the review.1 out of 5

Used on ¼†F stock steel to drill/thread a dozen holes. Last hole was drilled/threaded with ease just like the first.

As a solar installer I carried my leatherman every day on the jobsite and frequently used it and the sheath quality and durability is excellent. Definitely worth the price and highly recommend it.

This metric set is hard to find in reg. retail stores. This is a necessity in anyone toolbox. The quality and value speaks volumes. I have no complaints...

This drill tap set is very handy. If you drill correct size pilot hole and lube drill tap before using they work good.If you don’t they won’t last. They cut good and seem to stay pretty sharp.I mostly use tapping mild steel and aluminum up to 3/8†thick. These taps are hard but brittle so they snap pretty easy If they bind up.
