I avoided purchasing a hip curve and a French curve ruler for a long time because I just didn't want to play for it 🙃 but this ruler is amazing. It's nice a big, I love the multipurpose/2 in 1 ruler shape as I don't find I need a separate hip curve on its own. The thickness of the ruler is also a plus, I hate when rulers are thin because they feel cheap.Highly recommend if you're in need of a big curved ruler!

The Dritz French curve ruler is my go- to when fashion sewing. The ruler markings are easy to read and help me track measurements. A must when altering or drafting patterns.

This is a very handy tool for pattern drafting and much more convenient than buying each tool individually. I use this almost every time I sew and I love the little guide pamphlet that comes with it that shows you some tricks to using it on pattern modification. My only complaint is this tool does break easily. Two of my friends have broken theirs and mine broke while in my tote bag. If you are going to transport it, carry it individually, and do not put it or store it anywhere up high because if it falls it absolutely will shatter. However, even after mine broke I repurchased it within 2 days because I can't sew without it now.

Amazing ruler for constructing patterns as a beginner but my lord it will absolutely shatter if you drop it. I bought it 2 weeks ago and I dropped it from desk height and it cracked into 3 pieces. I taped it back together because it at least cracked into clean pieces. I'm going to order another one and be more careful with it. I bought an armcurve ruler from another supplier and was a bit disappointed with the "quality" because it seemed thin and flimsy. And now I realize that the other won't shatter when dropped because it's more flexible. That's the tradeoff with plastic like this.

I am not a beginner seamstress, but have only done the basics over 50 years of sewing. Was wanting to refit some patterns and had no idea how. After a youtube video (bless the youtubers who share their knowledge!} I found how simple it is to do with the use of this tool. I was so excited to get it! Something that would have made my entire sewing life easier!

I have owned this for 1 1/2 years and I use it constantly in my sewing room. I have several French curves but this is the one I reach for (why are all of the others still cluttering my space?!) every time. It is well constructed with smooth edges. The printing is clear and readable. This ruler is not indestructible and I have had to replace it in years past but I blame my disorderly habits, not its construction.

This is a real hip ruler as I bought a different one which was cheap and flimsy. This is sturdy and thick.

Great for what I needed. Bought this as a replacement for one that I broke, well actually my kids did when they were smaller. They can break easily if not treated with care when not in use. The first one sent to me was broken during delivery. The box looked like they dropped it out of a plane. Love customer service at Amazon, they sent me a replacement right away. Includes directions for using the different measurements and sections of the curve.

The ruler was a good thickness to mark the pattern and did not bend. The ruler is in inches but some rulers have both metric and inches. The print was in english.
