It fits and works like a factory/OEM mirror should. When comparing against my cracked OEM mirror, they were nearly identical. The only difference I could see was the heating element on the mirror seems less substantial (thinner) than the OEM. My initial tests with an infrared temperature sensor was that it was slower to heat than the OEM on my driver's side. However, more testing is needed. I've never used the defrost as I live in a moderate climate. In fact I had to search for the defrost button as I never have used it before. That would be my only consideration. And given the savings in price compared to the OEM, I still give it 5 stars.They even included the metal tabs that were later deleted by a Chrysler TSB. If I recall they transferred too much vibration to the mirror. I'll delete them later if I see the mirror vibrating excessively.

Dealers wanted 7x the price I paid. Mirror looks like the original one. Easy to install. This was a great purchase.

My original mirror for my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd became badly discolored because the heating and dimming features eventually failed due to age. It has been impossible to find the replacement with both features so I opted for this mirror. Super easy to install (less than five minutes), however it is noticeably warped while looking into it. While driving it can be a bit distracting, but I’m going to keep it while I continue to search for the original replacement with both features as the original.
