Was very simple to install. Temp sensor is kind of short, but was able to run it out next to a light switch under the cabinet. I love that it can be turned off to not waste power. No more guessing. The old battery indicator only stated "weak, fair , good charging"

Instructions are very vague on installation, but thankfully my engineering background helped me figure it out very quickly. Once you get this installed and set up on the proper voltage setting, it is quite effective and much better than relying on a yellow trouble light to alert you when battery is low. Installed this on a 2020 Club Car Tempo 48v.

I really like the look and features of this battery meter.As has been commented on before, the gauge of wire is very thin and does feel flimsy. I tried making this better by stripping the wires for an inch or so, then folding the bare wire in half and twisting it together. Next, I tinned the wire ends with solder and then crimped them onto spade terminal connectors. In addition to crimping the wire ends to the terminal connectors, I also soldered them to the connectors to insure stable electrical contact. I crimped the corresponding female connectors to the positive and negative wires behind the dashboard of my golf cart. To strengthen the connections, I applied heat shrink tubing to the wiring on each end and fitted it to snugly abut the terminal connections both male and female.I then enlarged the already existing meter hole to accommodate the dimensions of the new meter. I did this by first cutting out a template using an index card, which I aligned and taped to the dash where the meter will reside. Using the template, I cut the hole using a hack saw blade and did finish trimming with an Exacto knife.Finally, I plugged the spade connectors together - positive to positive and negative to negative. I used more heat shrinkable tubing to completely cover up and protect the point where the male and female spades are connected. This guaranteed the connect would never accidently disconnect.I then programmed the meter to correspond to the type and voltage of my golf cart batteries. However, when I turned on the display, it shows that my brand new (two-day old), fully charged batteries are at 77% of capacity. It should read near 100%. I’ve asked the seller for assistance to resolve the problem. The seller promptly instructed me to use menu item 3 to customize the minimum and maximum voltage of my battery array. I did what they instructed and that resolved the issue.The finished installation looks great and the meter seems to operate perfectly.

I purchased this item for use in monitoring a Golf Cart 36v battery system. Upon receiving the item it is clearly marked on the back that it is for monitoring a 12v battery system. Took a chance and it did work on my 36v battery bank. Install was simple and easy. Cannot use the temperature probe because the cable is to short to reach from the dash to the battery bank.PROS: Display good but hard to read in direct sunlight. Voltage was accurate when compared to meter Easy 2 Wires to connect ProgrammableCONS: Manual is missing key information! Temperature is only in Celsius! Programming is lost when power is disconnected Meter is not accurate unless you start with a fully charged batteryIt took me a few hours and lots of experiments to figure out why the programming would not take. To solve the issue I charged the batteries to full. Disconnected the battery charger and then connect power to the unit. After doing this the programming of the battery meter started to work. If you disconnect the power for any reason you must start the procedure over to get the battery meter to work correctly again. For my application the batteries were charged and meter connected around 42V. Programming was set low at 30V and Full at 36V. Appear to be working as expected.

I've just gotten to mounting this today, but it still works after a 25 mile test ride on the electric bike over some pretty rough roads, so that seems like a good start! Two things of note. This is TINY! I often misjudge the size of things from the pictures, I really expected this to be about twice as big, so take a moment to look at the specs, and understand how small this is. Also, its not very easy to read in bright day light, especially while bouncing down the road. I was using this to test a new battery on an electric bike, so I really was trying to see my voltage level while moving and accelerating. If I stopped, the battery would recover and throw off the numbers. Anyway, small is good, just harder to read when moving. There are other reviews that mention how to configure this for your type of battery. Mine came with the directions, just be sure to make the adjustments before you mount, you'll need access to the rear of the meter to press the set button. I'm using it with LiFePO4 pack, and after setting it up, it seems to be pretty accurate.

I did not have an issue with this meter. Installed easily once I located the proper wires. I used F-Type crimp on pins to allow me to insert the leads into an existing connection for positive and negative feeds. I saw complaints about the wires being too light, but I didn't experience that, just made sure to use quality crimp pins. Shows an accurate voltage and I know when it's time to head to the charger.

El medidor ya venÃa configurado para baterÃas de 48 V de ácido plomo, asà que solo tuve que ponerlo.Además vienen varias opciones de configuración por si lo quiero usar después con alguna otra baterÃa.El display en luz de dÃa no se ve muy bien pero se puede ver.Un buen producto por el precio.
