About this item

  • PARAMETER ---- operating voltage range DC 3.3v~30v; frequency range 1Hz-150kHz; output current 5-30mA; duty cycle range 0-100%.
  • APPLICATION ---- as square wave signal generator for experimental development; as square wave signal generator for motor driver; as adjustable pulse generator for MCU; as pulse generator, control related circuits (PWM dimming, speed regulating).
  • SERIAL COMMUNICATION ---- support serial communication, TTL level.
  • DATA AUTO STORAGE ---- all parameters will be saved automatically after setting and therefore won't lose when power off.
  • OTHER FEATURES ---- with LCD display to display frequency and duty cycle value; with case; PWM output, can set frequency and duty cycle separately by buttons; frequency value is divided into 4 range and switched automatically, with high precision.

Parameter:
1. Working voltage: DC 3.3v~30v
2. Frequency range: 1Hz~150kHz (divided into 4 ranges);
3. Frequency precision: 2% of each range;
4. Signal load capacity: output current is about 5-30mA;
5. Output Amplitude: PWM amplitude equal to the input voltage value
6. Environment Temperature Range: -20~+70℃
7. Duty cycle range: 0-100%.
Application:
1. As square wave signal generator for experimental development;
2. As square wave signal generator for motor driver;
3. As adjustable pulse generator for MCU;
4. As pulse generator, control related circuits (PWM dimming, speed regulating).
Setting Parameters:
There are 4 independent buttons on the module for setting the frequency value and the duty cycle value.
Supports short press (increase or decrease 1 unit by 1 unit) and long press (fast increase or decrease).
All setting parameters will be saved when powered off to achieve data guaranteed.
Frequency Display Instruction:
The frequency is divided into 4 ranges and switched automatically.
1. XXX (without decimal point): minimum unit is 1Hz, value range is 1Hz~999Hz.
2. X.XX (the decimal point is in the hundred digit): minimum unit is 0.01kHz, value range is 1.00kHz~9.99kHz.
3. XX.X (the decimal point is in the ten digit): minimum unit is 0.1kHz; value range is 10.0kHz~99.9kHz.
4. X.X.X (full decimal point): the minimum unit is 1kHz; the value range is 1kHz~150kHz
e.g. Frequency displays 100 represents 100Hz; displays 1.01 represents 1.01kHz;
displays 54.1 represents 54.1kHz; displays 1.2.4 represents 124kHz
Package Included:
1x Signal Generator

I used this device to provide a pulse to a diaphragm pump. The original circuit had a failure, and I had to come up with something quick to continue working - this fit the bill! Nice little unit!

I checked the output on my oscilloscope and it is very - very clean square wave. The interface is easy to use, with responsive buttons and rapid adjustment. I love it!

Great little unit, works on Stroboscope that I built with Perkins-Elmer / EG & G Flashbulb Power supply.Had to adjust the "Pulse Width" to about 5 %. for the Flash power supply will work great.I was unable to adjust "Precision" of frequency / Move decimal point over by one digit like XXX . X for 10th of a second. Must not have the capability. Hence the 4 star rating.Hooking up and running was a breeze though even the Voltage is 24 VDC

This little thing is perfect for applying power to 3 wire variable speed fans for testing. such as found in automotive coolant cooling fans and any other variable frequency driven variable speed fans using 3 and sometimes 4 wires.

did not perform as expected. unsure if broken or just bad unit, but mine did not output a pwm signal

I needed to be able to test the electric fan on my car. In addition to needing 12 volts DC, the fan also needed a 100Hz PWM signal injected to turn it on and off and adjust the RPM. This little device did exactly what I needed and gave me the assurance the fan itself was working. Which was important because a replacement fan costs several hundred dollars and wouldn't have fixed the problem.

nice dc power range, can the frequency and duty with the buttons, using one to run a tweeter to drive the squirrels away from the outside motion sensors the control my recordings in homeseer, set at 25.0k 30% duty cycle, still looking for a case for each of them, but the first one is up and running, no more outside motion going off by the tree rats
