So I'll start off by saying that I haven't rode a longboard in about 15 years but I am a seasoned snowboarder, so with that being said I feel this board is dope! I don't have a lot to base a comparison on but I do know a thing er two about quality, I've done a lot of research on components and such and this board seems to have good parts. The trucks look and feel nice and come with a barrel bushing board side and cone bushing road side, both with washers, I'm not sure the durometer of the bushings but I'd put them at 80a or so, they ride smooth and have very minimum noise. The bearings are ABEC-11 size 608 (8mm core) despite it saying ABEC-9 in places like the description and some other websites, so most aftermarket replacement bearing will work, as long as they're 608/8mm's.I am 6'3" about 185lbs and this board is more than study enough for me so I assume the 9-ply maple is pretty strong.I can't really say how the bearings ride because I bought Oust MOC5 Tech bearings to use instead of the "high speed abec-11's" that came with it. I will put them in and use them sometime and probably update my review then. During my first ride I went on this local bike trail and loved it, I rode over decent size twigs and rocks with little to no problem, as long as I maintained a decent speed, low speeds with trip up anyone. The trucks came fairly loose and felt really good for carving and remained stable but after going down a slight Hill the speed wobble picked up so I tightened them up they felt more stable. The wheels are just OK, I have nothing great to say about them or nothing negative either, they do come with spacers which I thought was nice as well.So for what I know about longboards this one is a great buy, seems to have all around quality parts and build, see my attached photos. The only Con so far is that the nut hardware that holds the trucks on doesn't fit a standard skate too, so I had to use pliers instead when removing the trucks from the deck.

This Rimable Drop Through is without a doubt the best quality complete for your buck that you are going to find. The deck is a solid 9-ply maple as adverstised. Its strong with a slight flex. Exactly what you want for free riding / distance cruising. I'm 6'1" and 250 pounds. It handles me with no problem. I bet a 300 pound guy could skate this board with out there being any issues. All the components are versions of well known brands and designs. Trucks are RKP, wheels are 70mm probably around 85a - just right for cruising. Bearings don't state which ABEC that I can see....but they roll fast and spin smooth. I may upgrade but then again maybe not. Grip tape is grippy and die cut. There is a lot of bad griptape on the market but he grip on this board isn't one of them. If I had to guess I would say it's comparable to Jessup. Truck bushings are on the softer side for surfy carving and cruising. Mine a torqued down pretty good and they remain responsive.I have had about a hundred skateboards and longboards in my 44 years. I wanted a lower cost board to keep in the trunk of my car for impromptu rides and not worry about what happens to it. This Rimable exceeded every expectation I had and then some. I have no idea how Rimable can produce and sell these for $59? Do yourself a favor and get one! I'm buying another as a spare. Excellent board all around.

This is a mass produced skateboard that should be priced 10-15 USD lower....although It's quality is better than what you'll find at the big retail stores. Rimable has no company web site, no customization, no support, no advertising on build materials....it's a ghost company unlike those companies like sector 9. Rimable pieced together medium grade decks, trucks and wheels to make a decent board and used customer reviews to promote their boards by giveaways for good reviews....sounds crooked but it's not, this is a decent board. The mass produced parts are probably all made in China and Japan but so are some parts on expensive boards made in California and Rimable did ok putting them together. First impressions and experience on my impulsive first feel and ride of this board...DECK: its deck is strong and has very little flex....I'm an adult weighing 180 and this seems like it can hold more weight. The deck has raised edges (concave deck surface) which makes it really nice carving turns which you find on good grade decks...It's thick and not too heavy for a 41 inch board. BUSHINGS: look to be the same PU material as the wheels and they work smooth with the trucks. TRUCKS: mid grade alloy aluminum thick and strong, paired well with the transparent red bushings give a nice steady ride and smooth turns for this board right out of the box...I didn't need to tighten or loosen the trucks and I'm 180 lbs.. BEARINGS: ABEC....ABEC....ABEC.... Is just a guide line developed by engineers to grade bearings and now it's a marketing tool for board companies! ABEC 5, ABEC 9, ABEC 11....really? Did you know "REDS" are super fast bearings and aren't ABEC rated...bottom line is you can have self proclaimed ABEC 11 and they could be junk while a good well made ABEC 5 can run circles around it. I don't care what rating these bearings are....I just hope they don't degrade too fast... This board has nice bearings and smooth too. Out of the box without being worked in the wheels roll fast with a flick of the hand and keep rolling....that's my scientific test :) WHEELS: strictly cruising grade....firm with a gummy grip PU...you don't have any slide on fast turns so you won't have that snowboard type slow down when needed.... so don't hit steep hills without changing the wheels. As for cruising, these are smooth and roll nicely so you get a nice distance with one kick...I was ready to jump when I ran over a twig thinking it would stop but it rolled over...thump' thump'. :) OVERALL: large strong board, smooth ride, low deck, good control, turns fairly sharp for a longboard, no ride vibration on your feet....this is definitely a good board for heavy adults and freaking fast! I hope it holds up well and won't degrade quickly as most mass produced boards do....update later :) Update: 2020.....This thing is still kicking and so am I. My daughter adopted the duplicate board and rides it on the river walk in NYC along the Hudson River. I'm still riding mine and still love it. It's strong and held up well. :)
