You get much more in this pack than the big name brand gels, and they work just a good. I like the fact that they're clear. Stay in place perfectly, and they're not big, so you can control your sound as much or as little as you want. I play strictly in a studio setting, and I play fast and loud and fairly heavy handed. I find 2 on the snare(one right below Mic, and one on the side about 1 inch in), 1 on each rack Tom, and 2 to 3 on floors friending on adding or situation works perfectly.

Hmm. The good things- price, the "sticky only one side" which does save on dirt attraction, and they seem to perform as well as any others. The cons- maybe because it was a powerful show but a couple did fly off during the set. You do have to find a way to carry them- I must admit the little plastic cases for the other brands comes in handy- but again- it isn't that hard to find something to carry them in. I also noted that one of them had lost stickiness- although I have to go back and check to see if it is just from dirt (again- a single gig).Still I am not completely judging yet- I will update later if I feel it needs to lose a star-or go up to five. But -10 only a dollar item, so ..

My favorite part of these is that you can throw your drums in a bag or case and since they're only sticky on one side, they wont come off in the bag or if you throw a BFSD on them!! They've got a smaller area than moongel (which I like), and they're clear (which I like). If you manage to hang on to the plastic slips they come on, they can be used and reused about 4 times before they lose their real strong stick. Nice product! Better value than moongel, too!

I originally loved these gels when I got my first pack of them. I like that they're clear, durable, and sticky. That said, after playing my drums a bit with them on, I've noticed that they will start to unfurl on the rounded edges and gradually peel off. This DRASTICALLY affects the sound of my drums. When they're stuck on 100%, they do a beautiful job. Neither replacement pack I purchased worked better. When they start to peel, the resulting sound is essentially what you'd get by lightly laying your finger on your drum while you strike it. It kills the drum...especially toms. I really want these to work because I like how they're built and packaged, but they're just not working out.

They were definitely sticky, and easy to use & remove, but I got lazy and didn't really clean the drum heads before applying them, so they didn't stick for very long. I used a little bit of tape to keep them down, and they work great.

Used these on my toms because they rang and every time I'd hit the bass drum, they'd hum. Wow! What a difference. These stop the ring and the resonate hum and now all 3 toms have a crisp sound. I couldn't wait to test them out so I started playing right away and noticed the corners jump a little but I'm hoping that the longer they're on there, the better they'll adhere. Time will tell but for now, the sound is great.

These provide just the right damping for my snare. They are plenty sticky, but easily enough removed (and reaffixed) to a coated snare head. I have never used the name brand 'MoonGels', but these work great and are a lot cheaper.

They stay for maybe a day, and then start flying off when I hit the snare or toms

The product does not stick to the drum skin. I played only one song and all of the drum gels were on the ground.
