These clog easily even with hard woods. They come in various grits but are not marked. Not suitable for steel.

Perfect for my drill press. Sanding tubes aren't great, but you can purchase higher quality paper cylinders. You will need more anyway.

Very nice set, just don't put it on a high-speed die-grinder! I bought a Grizzly 2600 RPM straight drill for about $28 and it works perfect for this because the RPMs are low enough that you don't get wobble. Much faster than this and the inherent imbalance WILL rear it's ugly head and it will start to significantly deviate from spinning true.
