Your cart is empty.#1 Morse Taper mount. Includes (5) 7mm bushings, knurled nut, and 7mm drill bit. This mandrel easily adapts to different length projects. Features a 7mm mandrel shaft that slides through a headstock collet. Simply mount your tubes and bushings, then slide the shaft to the appropriate length and lock it in place. The shorter shaft reduces the likelihood of the mandrel shaft bowing. 7/8" wrenches (PKMWR) are not included. Can be used with PKMSTS1 Live Mandrel Saver #1MT.

It works just fine, but it can be a pain to tighten the collet enough for the shaft to not spin.

I love that I can adjust the length of the mandrel. I was using a cheaper pen mendral, but I switched to this right away and I wish I never bought the other one!

it is quick and easy and allows infinite adjustment of the rod. This creates a shorter turning rod when working with smaller piece like pens.I much prefer it over the mandrel that screws into the headstock.

I've taken to mounting this in my drill chuck as it seems to be better balanced, but other than that, absolutely no complaints.

Appeared to be good on 1st pen the started to wobble at point now can no longer use looks like it may be the collet
