Clockwork Percussion Drum Practice Pad: This product gives me an opportunity to practice my drumming even away from home. I wanted something that will allow me to keep improving my skills despite the fact that I cannot be home with my drum kit. I have at least maintained if not improved my skills with this device. Definitley recommend for those beginning drumming lessons.

My son is a drummer and he has a collection of different brands and styles of drum practice pads. I thought this one with four different surfaces/sounds would be fun and helpful. He found it to be just ok. It works fine, but he prefers other brands more. He wasn't sure that the multiple surfaces were really helpful to him. This practice pad is well made and sturdy. It is heavy and has a decent sound. It isn't too loud, which in my opinion is a good point, as you want to be able to practice drumming skills without disrupting your environment. The anti-slip pad on the bottom could be better. Overall its a decent practice pad.

Great practice pad option, but I wish the "zones" were a bit bigger — maybe at the expense of removing the central one, or just increasing the overall size? Or maybe it's better this way for precision practice; I can't say for sure, as percussion was never my focus in music school. Rest assured, any drummer will get tons of use out of this pad, and if nothing else it'll help with stroke accuracy.

I'm a complete novice drum player reviewing Clockwork Percussion Drum Practice Pad, 10 InchThis practice pad seems well manufactured and materials seem high quality. It has a bit of heft and easily stays put, given the large grip surface on the underside. This is a very compact way to get quiet practice of a wide variety of drum surfaces. Even as a novice, I found the materials distinct in feel and tone and attack. There are some minor seams in between the different zones. They create a solid and uninterrupted surface, but there are some very slight height differences in the zones I don't have enough experience to comment usefully on how accurate the different zones are to the instruments they are simulating.

I got this Silent Practice Drum Pad for my kids who love to drum on everything but we live in an apartment. Now they drum on this practice drum pad and it is silent for the neighbors. I love that it's portable and they can take it with them around the house. It's dirty and good quality. There's four sections and each one has a different firmness so it really gives a accurate bounce back like playing drums.

This pad is a little different than others I've seen. This one has 4 different zones made of different material. The other side has a threaded hole and rubber pads in case you use it on a table. I'm happy with this purchase.

My husband is an aspiring/hobby level drummer who also has ADHD. Drumming is a great way for his body to release energy and tension, but goodness it gets annoying sometimes. :) This drum pad has been a helpful tool for him to practice drum patterns with various zones of bounceback, which imitates playing on a set. It's good practice for your hands/wrists but also a nice sensory experience if you like tapping/drumming/etc.

I seem to always try the new practice pads that come out and I have accumulated quite a few. This one is very interesting, as it has 4 separate playing surfaces.Frankly trying to practice it like it is a drumset really doesn't work for me, but you can get different sounds out of each which is kind of cool. What I like is the different playing surfaces. When I'm trying to build endurance I use the hardest one, and then move through until the softest which has the best feeling of a drumhead to me.
