Bought this sander for a semi-finished garage. I was going to finish the ceiling and siding in the garage. My wife complained that I made a huge mess with the dust. This tool solved that problem. It cut down on the time spent cleaning up alone. It is very simple to use and has a fast manual trigger operation with a variable speed dial on the handle. I can lock the trigger. It is fast and effortless and comes with a variety of different grits. The telescoping handle allows you to reach high areas when working, no ladder required. When using it, I found the swivel head very maneuverable and loved the light feature, it really helped to spot imperfections. Most of the time I use the slow 1 speed to make sure I don't sand too much or tear the drywall. It works beautifully,

Great sander but this one has a slight malfunction while holding handle at the bottom you get a shocking jolt of electricity in palm of hand

This seemed like a great idea for our large old wooden floor sanding project. We bought several separate sanding discs of 1 hi Siri80 and 220 grit. It sanded the floor smooth and did a great job on vacuuming the dust. However, it did not remove the carpet padding discoloration or paint spots. It seems too light duty. The light was very bright and handy. The plug kept pulling out of the wall and the cord is quite short so I had to use an extension cord or move it to different plugs around the room.

Sander works great. LED light around the entire sanding pad picks out flaws easily. I connected it to my shop vac and I was surprised how little dust there was. I put my project off for 2 years becasue I knew there would be dust all through the home. Like the carry bag. Only critique I have would be to include more coarse sanding discs being I am a novice tape and bed person. Really easy to use!

I bought this sander after reading the reviews. I definitely regret purchasing this sander. I was removing popcorn texture from a ceiling in a 16x24 room.This machine is little more than a medieval torture device with a power cord. It took me realistically 6 total hours to sand this room. I had to do it over four days because this machine made so much dust that it was impossible to see in that room. No matter how I adjusted the speed of the sander nor the suction setting for the vacuum, the dust was unbelievable. Some dust did go into the bag and I had to dump it once.Other reviews said that it collected 95% of the dust. I'd honestly estimate it at 20% possibly lower. I hated this thing.The LED lights are definitely a positive, but if I ever let the sander head flip over while sanding, I got an absolute shower of dust dumped all over me, from head to toe. I wish I had paid someone to come do this job. I'll probably throw this sander in the trash after this. It was a purely horrible experience. No matter how I adjusted the settings, the amount of dust was unfathomable. Wife and I covered everything in the room with plastic, but that was sheer folly, as the persistent thick cloud of dust covered EVERYTHING in the room. It took an additional 4 days of washing scrubbing dusting and vacuuming to get the dust off of every single object in that room.I also had to go buy an industrial shop vac to get all of the dust out of every single crevice in that room.If you're looking for a week of pure misery, this is your tool!

Sander works as described. Hooked hose up to wet vac to minimize dust. Worked well. Takes a little muscle but much easier than by hand!
