Unlike what Billy Joel said, "Don't waste your money on a new set of speakers, You get more mileage from a cheap pair of sneakers," these speakers are worth the money and even cost less than a pair of New Balance. I put these in my 1990 Jeep Wrangler to play all the hot funk, cool punk and even the old junk. I coupled them with the Sony DSX-A410BT head unit and the sound is amazing! They are also loud enough to overcome all the road noise associated with driving a 35 year old vehicle. Highly recommend!

After hearing much about DS18, I took a chance on these over pioneer,kenwood...etc. Especially at picepoint & sale. These sound nice/ crisp in 89 Silverado 💯 % satisfied! They'll probably last me a long time, not a daily vehicle. Absolutely recommended these! 😃

this review will probably get deleted, They are loud but when sharing many frequencies at once you can hear why they’re cheaper than most. if loudness is all you care for, they’re perfect. for the music I listen to, i’m surprised they lasted. they’re definitely durable.If you’re looking for 4x6 speakers I highly recommend the Infinity KAPPA463XF, just replaced them from the ds18s and they are louder and hit tones much better, more efficient bass.thanks, no hateTHANK YOU

These are pretty good high range speakers but do distort quickly and there is better out there for the money
