I like that my DS18 drivers are very modular and thus very repairable. Ordered two titanium replacement diaphragms, because I blew the originals out while testing their capabilities. One was perfect. The other showed visible damage to the dome out of the box (see pics). Now, it would be easy to blame Amazon or the delivery; however, the DS18 packaging boxes that they arrived in were not particularly substantial - I could easily see where rough handling these flimsy boxes could've led to damage. A plastic cap for the dome would've easily protected it. In addition, I've seen other QC problems with the drivers (cross-threaded bolts) that makes me think that the manufacturer isn't completely blameless. Honestly, these are cheap at $15, so not worth the return process. I've ordered another and will adjust the rating accordingly if it arrives in similar condition.

I ordered 1 directly from ds18 and one from Amazon both came looked identical but the amazon one took a crap a month or so in
