The stand is awesome, five stars. The carrying bag that comes with it is terrible and leaves yellow threads all over the velvet part of the stand. But you sort of need a carry bag, because the stand breaks down into two pieces to store or transport. I'll have to make or acquire a new drawstring bag. If Hercules made us such a quality stand, it's a shame they couldn't spend just a bit more on the carrying bag and make it halfway tolerable. Still worth it to get the excellent instrument stand itself.

I bought it for my Oboe, but it works great on my flute and clarinet too. It does not have the pop-out metal bobbers to secure the legs when it is extended so you have to make sure no one kicks/hits the legs while it sits next to you because they can close pretty easily. They grip pretty well to the carpet or floor so I don't see that being a problem yet. If needed I would buy this one again.

My wife just started, at 61, to start learning the flute. I direct a quintet at church and she wanted to play with us. In about 8-10 weeks of lessons, She has already begun to play with the group making us a sextet. It is easiest, and most organized, to leave instruments on a stand on the platform and it looks good and holds the instrument stable. it is lightweight and easy to carry. Great stand

I was using one of the cheaper little fold up stands, but I feel much much more confident with this very sturdy stand for my silver Yamaha flute. Plus, it has very good protection so as not to scratch the instrument

Bought this because a friend had one, and I discovered that it works very well for E flat clarinet, although there is no mention of that anywhere. I’ve always wanted a stand that worked well for both instruments. Good product all around. Very happy with it.

This stand is by far the sturdiest flute stand I have seen. It is so simple and easy to set up. You just pull the legs apart and screw in the peg that your flute sits on. You don't need much force to move the legs, but they are firmly enough in place that they won't move around on their own. The peg has a velvet covering so your flute won't get scratched. The stand is not flimsy at all so I'm not afraid of it tipping over with my flute on it - it would have to be physically pushed to tip over. It came with a bag so you have a way of transporting it, too. A great buy!

I'm in a college band and flute ensemble and I use this quite a lot! The soft velvet material on the peg itself kind of comes off after a while of carrying around in my backpack. Other than that, I love it! It's very sturdy, and I play a flute with a B foot, and it's not wobbly at all.

Il prodotto si è presentato da subito di ottima qualità poichè fatto dei migliori materiali. Serviva per il flauto traverso di mia sorella per poggiarlo una volta suonato. Ha ampliamente rispettato le esigenze di cui necessitava e rifarei assolutissimamente l'acquisto. Arrivato secondo i tempi di consegna previsti e imballato accuratamente. Inoltre era inclusa una fodera per riporlo e portarlo in giro a mo di zainetto.
