I had occasion to use this for the first time today. I shoot Real Estate. It performed well. It took me about 2 minutes to get comfortable with new hand movements. I can recommend this. ***Note To Users***Place a small dry towel in the bottom of this cover after you install it. You'll be able to dry your hands before you start adjusting camera settings.

the cover did keep the rain off, but it was stiff and was difficult to use . I think if you are using a tripod you would be okay but if you are holding it is too stiff.

I first used this on a rainy whale watching boat ride in Alaska. Worked extremely well. The large clear viewing area worked quite well in using the camera but it is important to know where all your controls are for ease of use. Great product IMHO.

But it makes it hard to use. I believe there are better options out there than this just haven't had a chance to look any further. But have returned this item. It makes the camera overly bulky

You can't go wrong at this price. The only annoying thing is the bead on the straps' end, when you walk they knock on the tripod or lens hood. I just tape them with Gaffer's tape.
