I used mine to protect my camera from birds. Originally, the birds started to build their nest. I had to remove and clean the camera, and scrub it down, thankfully, without ruining it. I put the cover on and they still built their nest bigger and better. I let them have their babies and let them be until they all left the nest. That's when I was able to remove the camera again with only needing to wipe it down with a sanitizing wipe. The silicone sleeve was easy to clean and reinstalled. Now to come up with a solution to keep the birds from thinking it's a good place to nest.
