This HDMI KVM switcher allows 2 computers to be switched to share 2 4K@60HZ monitor and 4 USB3.0 devices, mouse and keyboard and printers and scanners, etc. It also provides 2 ways of switching: desktop controller and push-button switch. Hotkey switching is not supported.
Replication mode and extension mode
The HDMI KVM Switch supports 1 computer connected to 2 monitors, duplicate mode: displaying the same screen; extended mode: displaying different screens; and sharing a set of USB devices and a mouse and keyboard.
Note: Each computer needs to have 2 HDMI port outputs to realize dual-screen display.
Wide operating system compatibility
The KVM switch is compatible with W 7/8/10/11P, Linux, Ma and other systems. It also supports a variety of input and display devices. It is important to note that KVM is just a switch and requires the host computer and monitor to support the appropriate settings in order to be realized!
Simple Connection
Each computer requires 2 HDMI cables and 1 USB cable to connect to the HDMI KVM switch, please connect the HDMI and USB pairs to the same host computer. Connect the 5V power cord and desktop controller.
Note: The HDMI cable and USB adapter are not included in the KVM switch kit.

Accessories in the package
We provide 2 x 3.3FT A-A USB3.0 cables, 1 x 4.9FT meter desktop controller, 1 x 3.3FT USB power cable, you need to prepare 6 HDMI cables for successful connection and use. Please prepare 5V 2A USB adapter if necessary.

I was skeptical after reading other reviews but this item worked great for my setup. I'm working with a variety of items. What I have hooked up to the KVM on one side is a Dell Latitude Laptop and Dell Monitor. On the other side is a Lenovo Desktop with Acer monitor. All HDMI hookup. I plugged my wireless Logitech KB/Mouse fob into the input side and it works on both computers when I switch over. Both the switch button on the unit and the convenient remote switch button work great.

Small unit but does what it's supposed to! I work from home, and have a work laptop that connects to a docking station to my dual monitors, and I also have a gaming computer. I use the same monitors and keyboard and mouse and was swapping out the cables constantly. Now all I have to do is push a button and no more crawling around under my desk. Love it.

Soild build, good cables and delivers the performance promised. Very convenient for being able to switch between my desktop and laptop on the home monitor setup while at my desk. It did take a bit of time to get my keyboard recognized the first time, but that might have something to do with the keyboard itself not sure...Overall a solid unit that seems to be living up to most of the advertised claims.

I use it to share two monitors, and a wireless keyboard mouse set with two computers. I can switch between them easily. I was surprised by the small size of the system. I recommend this product.

It works great, but be careful. I moved my desk and reattached the remote switch to the box. I guess I pushed a bit too hard (I didn't think I was pushing like the Hulk) and the remote connector (micro USB?) came loose inside the box. Now I can't connect the remote to the switcher. Guess I will have to get another one. :(

For switching my keyboard, mouse, and web cam between my personal computer or work laptop, it's a great little device. However, I can't use it for my monitor. The screen keeps going black for a moment at random intervals, like the monitor is looking for a new input. The specs on the manual say that it can handle 3840x2160 resolution, my monitor is 3840x1080, and I have it plugged in to a USB adapter for additional power, so I'm at a loss to understand why the monitor "blinks" like that.Update: Now, the keyboard and mouse are also disconnecting randomly, the same way the screen was flashing. I am now very disappointed in this switch and downgrading my review from 3 stars to 1 star.

Very pleased with the build quality but the peripheral button is kind of junky. I set it up for my wife's workstation so she can switch between her personal and work computer throughout the day and I fully expect this button to fail first. For how much the product costs, I figured the wired button would be a bit higher quality with maybe added weight and a higher quality actuator.Be mindful that the USB to USB cables must each go to a respective computer on the input portion of the KVM switch so that the keyboard and mouse will function properly. I spent way too long figuring that out.
