I had a strap in our RV awning, but after we replaced the fabric the strap was too short and would disappear in the roll. This strap is the right length to easily walk the awning in from the RV steps. It installs easily.

Time will tell about it's durability. It looks be be much better than the other RV strap I ordered. within a week the strap broke while using it.
