These are amazing! They are very lite weight so you can put them anywhere! The red lite is very brite and noticeable from a distance! My cameras fell (my fault) and where in rain and still worked! They look 100% real and work extremely well. You wont be disappointed

One of these bases was broken when it shipped to me so it is cheaply made BUT it is cheaply sold. I glued it together with no problem and the electronics still work. The light flashes a little faster and brighter than I had hoped for it to look 100% real but they don't call them dumb crooks for nothing. Easy to mount with a good wood screw to the home awning. Don't use the screws included. Overall will look and work great for a fake camera deterrent.

Great item!! This camera isn’t a real camera. It is very real looking and it does exactly what it is intended to do. I purchased this camera knowing it was not real so that I could deter people from breaking into my business. It is perfect and I mean the perfect route to go if you have other real cameras but want to make it appear more secure than it is

This product states that is has a "motion sensor detector" led light. It DOES NOT. The light blinks all of the time... not when triggered by motion. If it had a motion detector as suggested, it would appear more realistic and would greatly improve battery life. Very misleading. bummer

The price was good the appearance is good but you cannot mount the bracket to wall or siding without the globe connected. So you cannot get it secured tightly. This is because the globe mounts to the bracket from behind. All the needed to do was make the globe twist on so you could mount the plate then install the globe. You can’t get to the mounting screws with the globe on and can’t mount the globe after it’s secured to the wall.

I bought this set to make a "Santa Cam" for my grandson and a friend's grandson. I used my vinyl cutting machine to make their names and "Property of the North Pole". Their parents placed them strategically in the house and the two four year olds were enthralled that Santa and/or his elves were watching their every move. It even traveled to Grammy and Po's when we had a sleepover.

I have problem neighbours. And when I say problem I mean, PROBLEM. I installed 6 ring cameras around my home, but wanted one on the corner of my garage as my neighbour seemed to think she ownes the land right up to the garage, is if I’m encroaching on her land. Apparently land lines zig zag in her world.Long story short, I piled some snow along side my garage this winter because we got a lot of it and I try not to shovel onto other peoples property. Well, she came out yelling and screaming at me telling me I destroyed her property, I was perplexed, then the cops show up. They asked if I minded not shovelling the snow there as it bothers her. No problem.As soon as the cops leave she takes a spade shovel and destroys the side of my garage. I called the cops after she was done and she was arrested. She’s gone on to build fences and all sorts of scabby things blocking me from my property. So I wasn’t willing to put a $400 camera up there for her to practice her baseball skills. These however, sure piss her off.. so much so she spent a butt ton of money on cameras to spy on me… and lumber to build a 8.5ft high fence blocking a $20 camera. Love it.

They look the part and blink a red LED to look more real. Does the fake job I needed them for.

As others have mentioned, there is no template or separate base so you have to make best effort at measuring the distance between the two screws. Battery cover is flimsy. Not mentioned in any of the literature is that when the battery is low the red flashing LED stops. Then a couple of weeks later the 'camera' will start emitting a warning tone - a bit like a smoke alarm - just not quite as loud.

This does the trick but I can’t use the red light which requires batteries cause it blinks so brightly it’s like a beacon all the way down the street. Why can’t you make it so it’s a very faint red light. This red beacon screams fake camera
