Got this because there was some crazy stuff going on in my neighborhood with people throwing big rocks through windows. My neigbor actually had a rock through their window. When the police looked at Ring doorbell footage, you can see the guys avoiding houses with doorbell cameras. So instead of getting an expensive Ring, I got this one instead. I would say it is easy to install. Easy access to battery compartment after mounting. And batteries last quite long which is a plus. And light is very visible, especially at night to scare off any unwanted guests. A good fake/decoy camera bell you can buy at a good price.

I have had this for over a year and its STILL blinking hard and working like a champ. Its highly visible from a faraway distance, to deter burglars. It is super bright blue. I love this so much.

We bought this for a rental property that is being fixed up and will be empty for months. The blinking light makes it look like a real doorbell camera. It still has the first set of batteries and it’s been functioning for months. It’s a great deterrent for the amount it cost

It does look a little cheap … if you see it up close it looks like it might be fake, so put it a couple feet up above eye-level. (The blinking light will attract attention to it to let people know it’s there.)

It works as advertised. Maybe keeps teens from ringing the doorbell and running away. But maybe not time will tell.
