At first I thought this had been used since it appeared scratched. See pix. Happily, all that was excess adhesive from applying a stiff paper label to one corner of the pan. It also had what initially looked like dirt, baked on something or other but probably the stuff used to bond the heart shaped cups to the top. It cleaned off with some vigorous scrubbing.Once all that was sorted out, it was put to use for a few cornbread muffins. No shortening, lard, butter or oil was used before scooping in the batter. My timer volume was too low and I didn’t hear it, so they were a bit over cooked. After a couple minutes cooling off, the muffins pulled out easily. They were very firm so maybe if they were softer they might not have released as easily. The crispier bits of spillage cleaned off with a hot water spray in the kitchen sink.One star off for the sloppy adhesive, higher than the competition price and the annoying stickers on the bottom of the pan that needed a lot of scrubbing, peeling and scraping with a plastic spoon to remove.

This pan is nice, but small. Think 6†cake size. If that’s the size you need, this will be perfect.

This pan is super heavy duty, I am so impressed. This pan feels as heavy as stacking two pans together, and does not warp while conducting heat extremely well. I don't actually use these for donuts because I use it for so many other things. Brownies come out amazing in this pan for single servings in fun shapes with a lot of crispy edges. Same with chocolate chip cookies. But I also use this to make savory and savory-sweet treats. If you are familiar with Butter Mochi, it comes out incredible in this pan, but my favorite use for this so far is to make Brazilian cheese bread, or Pão de queijo so instead of little balls you end up with fun shapes with lots of edges that provide crisping opportunity for the cheeses inside your dough. It's so much fun for the kids and really for the adults too, and people are always asking why I have all these cool treats in fun donut textures.

Real nice heart shaped cake mold pan. I like the size of the heart cake pan. I like that this pan is nonstick and easy to clean. I got this pan for the upcoming holiday for me and the the grandkids to bake our muffins. They are going to be awesome in this pan. Good quality carbon steel material, durable and well made to last a long time. I do recommend to try one, a good value as well.
