It would have been nice if a guidance had been included with the item. I have used it twice. I fixed a whole chicken and placed it on the smaller rack and it was delicious but when I fixed a turkey and putting it on the smaller rack wasn't going to work so I turned the stand and placed the turkey on the larger area. The bottom wasn't cooked completely but the breast was over cooked. If you buy thus use it for chicken or even a roast.

This shape does not fit the turkey at all. I was confused why it was shaped this way. After purchasing this I found the original product that is a teardrop shape. That one makes sense and is a nice fit for both turkey and chicken. I I reached out to the other company that carries these and actually got to talk to the inventor. She explained that she designed this and patented it. Now this Chinese company has done all they can to skirt around the patent and thus copy the product.I’ll be returning this one as I just bought the teardrop shaped one because it's the better product and to support the American inventor. This is a poor design and ill-will blatant copy.

I love the design and build of this item. I bought it to use as a roasting rack for chicken in the smoker, for which it looked ideal. However, when I roasted a small 3 lb fresh chicken I was disappointed that the size of the rack was too large to hold the bird without it slipping onto the grill. However, I'm sure it would work quite nicely with larger supermarket chickens and roasts.

It’s easy to clean but it’s not designed well, regular whole chicken just falls through, you can’t make it stay on.
